Alright, so I think I've found my calling. I've got a few fanfictions in the making, most of them related to Valve games, such as Half-Life 2 or Left 4 Dead.

I'm looking for somebody who has played these to be the first to look at my work.

Here are sound effects, you may find the helpful. I have maximizing set to the 'button on' sound and minimizing to the 'button off' sound.

I may set my old XP desktop computer to GLaDOS's voice if/when I decide to fix it.

I downloaded both files, and ran into a problem.

These "button on" and "button off" sounds you speak of are nowhere to be found, so for now, I'm using portal_open3.wav for Maximizing Windows, and portal_close2.wav for Minimizing Windows.

If you could, do you think you could put all your portal sounds into a RAR/ZIP file, and send me a link to download the whole thing?

Like, I know I'm missing these "button" sounds, but I think I may be missing more, because the "npc" folder was empty when I opened the RAR.

As far as I know, there aren't any missing sound effects. It even contains the music from the game.

Companion Comp is happy now. Here, I'll put her on.

My mistake, it's "ding_on" and "ding_off".

It's in soundEffects>vo>aperture_ai
